( J) You are going to be blind for a time, not even able to see the light of the sun.” ( K) Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? ( I) 11 Now the hand of the Lord is against you. ( F) 9 Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, ( G) looked straight at Elymas and said, 10 “You are a child of the devil ( H) and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. 8 But Elymas the sorcerer ( D) (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul ( E) from the faith. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God. ![]() There they met a Jewish sorcerer ( A) and false prophet ( B) named Bar-Jesus, 7 who was an attendant of the proconsul, ( C) Sergius Paulus. 23 For I see that you are full of bitterness and captive to sin.”Ģ4 Then Simon answered, “Pray to the Lord for me ( S) so that nothing you have said may happen to me.”Ħ They traveled through the whole island until they came to Paphos. ![]() 22 Repent ( R) of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart. ( L) 17 Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, ( M) and they received the Holy Spirit. 15 When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, ( J) 16 because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them ( K) they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles ( F) he saw.ġ4 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria ( G) had accepted the word of God, ( H) they sent Peter and John ( I) to Samaria. ![]() Wherever the established believer is driven, he carries the knowledge of the gospel, and makes known the preciousness of Christ in. 13 Simon himself believed and was baptized.
